Kahron Ross’s Jonesboro squad is off to a 10-2 start. They lost a game handily to one of the best teams in Arkansas, and then lost the final of an elite national holiday tournament last week.
In the eight team tournament Ross had 14 points and 8 assists in the quarters, 25 in the semis, and 15 in the losing effort in the final (47-44). In the semis, Jonesboro beat DeSoto from Texas which is a perennial power and was the #1 ranked 5A team in Texas heading into the tournament. Ross was named to the all-tournament team.
