I, too, like the idea of giving Lawson, some of the top freshman DBs PT. I was impressed when I saw Lawson in practice. Bottom line: Playing CB, especially, is not rocket science.
Remember, thanks to NCAA rules, you can get beaten deep, interfere and it’s only a 15-yard penalty. It pays to play tight/press coverage.
New guys can’t do any worse, right?
