I guess I’d put that Citrus Bowl game out of my mind. Not only was it empty, but it has to rank with the LU-LAF game this year as one of the most impotent offensive games I’ve ever personally seen LU play — though it was for a national championship. Defense was the hallmark of that 1979 team.
