I often wonder how many kids arrive on campus for recruiting visits in…well everything except wrestling and volleyball, excited to be recruited and enjoying the visit,then have to ride over south mountain,and say….Wow, we don’t even play or practice near campus. I’m glad to see some of the upgrades over there, but until $$$$’s are put into Goodman-(video,sound,locker room,etc) some will look elsewhere.The large grass area in front of stadium should be for parents and alumni. Build a new parking lot and make those families feel special. Some may disagree,but if you will not do lights,do the next best thing. The only time that space is utilized is on homecoming with the few tent gatherings.A great place for a football atmosphere,but lacks creativity.
