On another note, I went on to buy Lafayette tickets, and noticed they are charging LU students $5 to get in. Is that normal? I thought you showed your Lehigh ID and you were in? Not the best way to fill a student section.
I think it is normal for Lafayette games. My understanding is every other game is free for students except Lafayette. Agree that it makes no sense. Instead of using the rivalry game as a way to introduce the basketball experience to students, the athletic department is trying to make a few bucks. Doubt the $3,000 or so from student tickets makes much of a difference at all for the department, yet serves as a hurdle to get kids in the building. Don’t get it.
