Under no circumstances do you let them get loose from 3-point land. What do we do? We let them find a spark, which becomes a fire, which becomes a blaze. At least force them to need to go inside to get tough points! When it was clear Lehigh wasn’t going to play perimiter D, of course they were going to start raining.
I don’t think that is where we lost the game. AU shot 36% from 3 tonight (8-22), which is dead on their season average of 36%. Also, when Lehigh beat them last month AU shot 8-20.
Defensively, I think we were OK not great. It’s that we couldn’t get ANYTHING going on offense outside of Tim and Justin, and we became so desperate to get them the ball that we turned it over half the time we tried.
