Unlike LG,doubt we’ll see any frosh early. Perhaps ,later in the season,they may compete for some PT. Our entire D was atrocious last year. Plenty of blame to spread around. The primary cause was an absolutely ineffectual Dline,which could not stop the run or pressure the AB. This put inordinate pressure on DBs to come up to play run. Lots of big plays over the top of Ss. We compounded the Dline’s ineptitude by abysmal tackling across the board.Staff has emphasized tackling drills,unlike last year. We’ll see if new D and a real NG will improve D.
