Could it be coaching?
Kids needs to be developed. When LU’s at its best, the assistant coaches are stellar. You can see the players improve from week to week. Under Checcini and Kotulski this was true. You would also see the fruits of half-time adjustments, again, when these two were here. They both deserved the opportunities to move on, but Andy had done a poor job of replacing then, in one man’s opinion.
To me, this year is a crucial one for Andy, although I am extremely aware that LU football head coaches seldom are given their walking papers. (Mike Cooley?)
