OK, I’m beginning to understand now.
1.) We should be recruiting guys who are also being recruited by bigger schools, but we shouldn’t get excited because they will proably end up at the bigger schools.
2.)We should not be excited by guys not getting offers (that we know about) from bigger schools because they probably aren’t any good even if they have great stats because they’re probably not really playing anyone.
Assuming 1.) and 2.), we may as well just sit and sulk about how everyone else is excited about their recruits.
