First time I can recall a big coaching game by Reed in 9 seasons. I wouldn’t get too carried away. He certainly out coached a good tactician in Carmody. What the hell was Carmody doing in last 8 minutes? Lehigh switches defense to zone, you have shooters (shot 50% from 3 to that point), Lehigh go on 15-0 run and no time outs by Carmody to settle his crew or run a set play against the zone. Really poor job by Carmody, but, in fairness, he didn’t miss the 5 FT’s. Carmody looked bored and disinterested. Guy used to have a lot of fire.
For those in arena, was there anybody there? Looked like under 300 people on TV. We are now drawing less than local middle schools. Weather a factor?
