This was not going to be a big crowd to begin with. Box lists 710 paid. We didn’t have that in the building, but the weather was really bad and potentially dangerous. 22 degrees and rain, with heavy icing on the way. I went, but those who stayed home were the smart ones. If it looked ugly on TV, it was worse in person. But I’m thrilled. We were down late and experiencing the let down game you knew would come sooner or later. And got it done at the end.

And I agree Doc coached a very good game. Zone changed their tempo just enough. I think he’s been considerably better in game all year, and may have turned the corner, finally. Early this season someone here posted that in light of the key injuries and thin bench, it would take a great coaching job to have a positive season. I’m hoping.
