The sad part is Coen is a good guy and I believe has the capacity to be a good coach. His problem is that overall he hasn’t done a great job of picking assistants. Even worse, is his reluctance to make a change when one or more of his assistant isn’t cutting it. There is just no excuse for having one of the worst defenses in FCS every year.
