Reading some previews of opponents and taking a closer look at the schedule, I think 4 wins in the out of conference schedule is the break even point. More than 4 I would consider a success, and less than 4 wins I think would be a slight disappointment. If we start getting into the 6 and 7 win range OOC – which I think is possible, that could be the start of something pretty special.
I’ll also echo the thoughts of some others here – obviously Holba, Lieb, Sedore, and Andree have played zero collegiate minutes combined. That said, I can’t remember a time in the past 12 years or so that I have been this positive on the long term prospects of the frontcourt. That’s more sheer numbers and (unproven) frontcourt talent than has been on the roster in a long time. At least they will have big bodies to practice against, something that hasn’t been the case over the past few years.
