Devon Carter played for Lehigh as a grad student as recently as three weeks ago, so it is most certainly permitted within the league. How quickly we forget!

Alston went to what 4 high schools? That’s shown to be a predictor of future transfers at the collegiate level, so I think he was always a flight risk. Agree it is disappointing though.

Transfers have been increasing across the country for the past few years, with some programs affected more than others. Bucknell for example has not had transfer issues despite some coaching changes. American, Lehigh, Holy Cross and others have been hit harder.
