@lfnadmin … good piece … it’s all a downer. Luckily it’s just a game for most of the kids … except for the ones seriously injured.
Hopefully this year will teach them many lessons.
And hopefully fans will show up for HC and LU will play OK vs Bucknell.
Equipment: A few of the good football programs in our area have invested in new helmets the past two years. I don’t know all the details, but they’re engineered to prevent concussions. Several teams even practice with specially designed padding over the helmets.
No clue how Lehigh has progressed in this area.
