Some 5 game (season-to-date) PL Stats of interest:

Total Offense
#1 Lafayette 420.0 yards/game
#2 Lehigh 414.4 yards/game

Scoring Offense
#1 Lehigh 31.0 pts./game
#5 Lafayette 21.6 pts./game

Scoring Defense
#1 Lehigh 13.0 pts./game
#5 Lafayette 25.0 pts./game

In a game where Lum to Spadola/Zurn/Drawl may "cancel out" O’Neil to Layton/Hayes/Bennett, I’ll go with……

#1 the rushing attack of Lehigh’s Campbell (sr.), Colvin (so.), and Lum (jr.) over Lafayette’s Mputa (fr.), Elder (so.), and O’Neil (jr.). I was particularly impressed with Campbell’s 118 yard effort last week and believe he and the other seniors will make tomorrow a day they’ll long remember.

#2 the stout rushing D of Lehigh (87.0 yards/game) vs that of Lafayette’s (149.2 yards/game)

#3 the foot of Randazza. The Lehigh kicker is 8-8 in FGs (only 100% mark in the PL) and booming his KO’s of late 60+ yards.

#4 Lehigh’s superior pass protection. The Mountain Hawk front line has given up but 4 sacks in five PL games. Lafayette’s O Line has yielded 13.

For those concerned about the forecast of 25 mph wind gusts, remember Harvard. On that day, Lum went 22-40-1 with 2 TDs and passed for 303 yards.

Final Score: Lehigh 30 / Lafayette 21 MVP: Campbell
