SBum, no promises, but we’ve sent some questions over to Chris Masse regarding Cole, hopefully he can shed some light for us on Cole.
I am really intrigued at this, this still seems to be rather mysterious given lack of coverage and late signing….will be interesting to see how this plays out, hopefully we got a steal.
My only hunch is that perhaps he was signaling football only at the next level so he never did big aau circuit and hoops teams didn’t really pursue him cause they thought it was a done deal that he’d do football at the next level, and perhaps in last 12-18 months his hoops game took off and he realized that should be his focus….regarding duquesne and creighton, who knows if offerse were really made, or if it was just the typical interest/calls/letters.
