BJ, according to reports, not on scholarship, so he doesn’t seem to factor.  On Renninger, I agree that if he had an A-10 school interested (Duquesne) and perhaps Creighton, scored 2,000 points, and was “the best player in Central PA”, he would be on scholarship.  Although, with CG graduating, you would have a walk-on spot open as well.  I would think Lehigh would have a press release, however, if another scholarship athlete was added to the incoming class.  This kid did play 4A basketball, and Central PA, although not full of urban areas, is a big geographic area.  I don’t really know the strength of PA high school basketball outside of the Philly area.  I feel better about 4A PA than a kid from a tiny Christian Academy in some remote outpost playing at the smallest state level (that is not a basketball superpower).  He is in Bucknell’s backyard, and no indication they ever were looking at him, so that is not a great sign.  But, they have 3 PGs on their roster, all back next season and are bringing in Azzinaro.  So, he would not fit a need for them.

Kid looks to have been a pretty solid football player, so maybe being a 2 sport athlete, he was not as active in offseason basketball.  You can never have too many ball handlers, as we saw at VCU.  Next year, you could see Renninger, MM and CS finding time on the wing, as all 3 can shoot it pretty well from 3.  I would say he looks more athletic than AD, CS, and SC, but not as athletic as MM.
