Same feeling van for the D.DCs did expand DL rotation and dialed up more blitzes but we still run a very vanilla D with soft coverage. I get bend dont break.Never liked it but it can work if DL can get some pressure. So far not somuch. Newton is a pass rusher not a run stopper. As we have been all year,very porous with runs up the gut. DL cannot protect LBs so Ward and Hill have to make tackle.
DCs are position coaches but so far out of their depth at DC. Cant say whose faukt it is theirs,inexperience,lack of DL talent or a combo of all of the above.
