One thing I forgot to mention on Chuku and that is his high school stats. I think he averaged 13.4 for the season at KUA, which does not look that impressive. However, if you look deeper into that league, it is not a high scoring league, and is very deep in talent. For example, Nerlens Noel (Kentucky signee, #2 in country) averaged 12.6 ppg, 7.2 rpg and 3.9 blocks in that league. Kaleb Tarczewski (Arizona signee, another top player in country) averaged similar numbers for St. Mark’s who won the championship. So, it is hard to put a lot of stock in the high school stats as far as projecting. A lot of games in that league are played in the 40’s and 50’s. Some make it much higher, but doesn’t seem like a run and gun type of basketball there.
