October 5, 2017 at 3:11 am #32378Jeameril Wilson (Gray Elementary) will play at Woodstock Academy in Woodstock, Connecticut. While at NDCP, Wilson played guard. He was a Team Captain, All Conference 1st Team ESCC, and the Team’s Co-Most Valuable Player. He averaged 14.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, three assists, and one steal per game. Wilson received an Illinois High School Association Scholastic Achievement Award, NDCP’s Faith, Scholarship, and Service Award and an Ambassador of the Year Award.
“We are very proud of Jeameril and all that he accomplished during his four years at Notre Dame College Prep both in the classroom and on the basketball court. Jeameril was an outstanding team captain, a three-year varsity starter, and worked tirelessly to achieve much success at ND in every capacity. Jeameril led the Dons in rebounding as a senior and was a defensive catalyst each night as a senior. He was a big part of three Regional Championships, a Sectional Championship, an ESCC Championship, and an appearance in the Elite 8 in Class 4A Basketball. He has an extremely bright future ahead of him and we wish him the best of luck at Woodstock Academy, a highly regarded prep school, where he will work towards his goal of playing Division I basketball,” said Boyle.
October 5, 2017 at 3:25 pm #32388Seems like he might be more of a glue guy. Rebound, defend, and play tough. Probably not a big scorer in college, but sounds like a worker and a tough player.
November 30, 2017 at 10:28 pm #33139Woodstock Academy is currently the #1 Post Grad Team in the country after beating #4 Hargrave and #6 Monteverde in a recent tournament. Wilson is a ckey contributor to this team scoring 12 with 5 boards in the 1st game and 21 in the 2nd.
One article had this to say about Jeameril“Wilson continued his efficient weekend, going a perfect 8-8 from the floor, 1-1 from 3 and 4-4 at the line to finish with 21 points. Members of the national media were impressed with the 6’7” Wilson’s polished skillset, physical presence and well-rounded floor game, often referring to him as a “steal” for Lehigh.”
December 1, 2017 at 4:44 am #33147Wow, that’s exciting – thanks for the update. Playing against that level of PG competition should really help him early as well.
December 9, 2017 at 4:42 am #33208Woodstock is now 10-0 and still #1 in the nation
