HERE IS WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR…TALL ATHLEIC, MULTI SPORT OFFENSIVE LINEMEN…HIS FRAME, SPEED, AND ATTITUDE LOOK GREAT. REVEWING HIS VIDEO…GREAT MOTOR, BLOCKS DOWNFIELD, MOVES HIS HIP FOR LEVERAGE AND POSITIONING, GOOD REACH BLOCKS AND OFFSIDE PULLING. HE’LL BE FUN TO WATCH MATURE AND GAIN D1 EXPERENCE. NOW ANOTHER ONE PLEASE!

My name is Taylor Curlin, and I am a senior in the class of 2016. I am a 6’5″, 274 lb defensive end and offensive tackle for Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, Illinois. I also wrestle in the winter on the varsity team to improve my conditioning and make me more athletic. My team competes in the West suburban Silver conference, which is known to be one of the most competitive conferences in the state of Illinois.

I have always been known to have an excellent work ethic. During my senior season, I was the only player to start on both sides of the ball, and I rarely came off the field. Hard work throughout the year lead to me being named to the first team All- Conference Varsity Football Team. During my junior season, I was one of only two juniors to play on the varsity team and to start all 10 games at right tackle. During that season, I went up against two first team all-state players, Nick Dillon (Stevenson) and Declan Ryan (Glenbard West). Against both players, I did not let up a sack or tackle. I am also a very hard worker in the classroom. I have a 4.3/ 4.0 weighted GPA and a 3.65/4.0 unweighted GPA. I have taken many challenging courses throughout high school, including many Advanced Placement courses and a large number of accelerated courses. My work in the classroom led to me being named to the All-Conference Academic Team for Varsity Football.

Curlin and Foley are a good start. One more like them would set us on the OL for a while. Dont forget we brought in 5 good ones last year, particularly Hawkinson and Riccotilli.

Both saw PT last season. Smith is really the wildcard. Injuries have kept him out last two yrs. A healthy Kadeem would be a major plug for gaps in OL :)

Well one more,Prendergast is a stud. Our sole lack in the front 7 is a NG. We have size ,speed and athleticism everywhere else. If we dont get one,it falls to Mitchell and Kaufman and the hope at least one can do a sdrvicable job.

No doubt he could do well there. If TJ doesn’t recover from his back issues, they may have to. Still nedd 2-3 OL tho.
