Interesting to see Maxie with 2s.
Hopefully a few more eyewitness views. Ill ask about 90.

Hopefully 90 is ready to go this season. We will need him to avoid reliance on LBs. Didn’t he have concussions in the past? Hope it is just a minor ding. Has Bott been beat up by Cohen for mismanaging the LB class of seniors and poor D Mgmt? No longer see Hobbie on the roster and losing Coffman last year is unacceptable. Kid had an amazing Spring and Strong fall scrimmages last year. It appears Bott is jerking around Buzkirk in a similar way going into junior year after early chances that evaporate in junior year. Makes little sense.

Agree on Coffman. Bus got major PT. Not surprised he stayed at 2 behind the seniors. He will start on the outside this year. Walker also IMO. 3rd spot???
Sutyak is not Botts. Expect a more aggressive approach. Fingers crossed that guys can adjust without too many hiccups. Gonna be somewhat of a work in progress. DL and DBs have to be able to sustain learning curve while LBs get up to speed.

Walker seemed to be a favorite last year, but there have been some positive comments about Woetzel

is Rover a hybrid LB or DB? Seighman or one of the DB’s?

Woetzel a classic fit at rover. Staff wanted Seighman to bulk up to move him forward to LB. He may be a flex LB in spots where Sutyak goes to a flex scheme. Dont think we’ll see much of the DBs at R. Did not work out well last season.

Looking at pics posted online, did I see Buskirk at TE vs LB?? Appears Bott strikes again in not being able to manage talent at LB. even more concerned we have no seniors and now juniors moving to offense.

Botts no longer has the call on D. Today’s scrimmage will provide some info.

I didn’t see any picture with Buskirk in it. Can you provide a link? Numbers often get mixed or duplicated in practice. Jake has never played TE (did play FB in HS). At 6-2, 225#, he is also too small. The team should be loaded with TEs and its a seldom used position, perhaps until this year.

Just finished scanning thru photos on FB. Dont think I saw Buskirk at TE.
