SBum – It seems both those articles mention Iowa, and he has a confirmed offer there. I also heard he recently visited Tennessee. Price is legit, now maybe reed or his dad have an in cause of their michigan connection, but I’d be thrilled if he came to LU, but I put it at an outside shot. Kid is good, little preview here in this 1 min 25 sec video…kids got the goods.

I think Iwundi is long long shot at this point as well. Really will be interesting to see what we end up with this year. We have a lot of offers out to solid guys who we can only hope that their bigger offers end up getting pulled back because a guy at the same position accepts at these big schools before they do….interesting times as teh rest of the PL picks up commits, and we’re still searching for our first….
August 11, 2012 at 2:12 pm #6424The below doesn’t mean a ton, but it is certainly not a bad thing!

@3JMcCollum Give a S/O to a college prospect considering Lehigh!!!Retweeted by CJ McCollum
August 12, 2012 at 4:16 pm #6430Totally right Hoops, not sure how I missed the Iowa mention in the 2nd article. I saw that Austin Price tweet too, I hope it means we are still in the running. Another guy we offered but was always a long shot, Nathan Hawkins, committed to Nebraska this weekend.

August 12, 2012 at 6:23 pm #6431Isaiah Taylor is good, this just in, I mean we knew that but wow, pretty impressive. Talk about a really pretty stroke from deep, great elevation on his jumper and he releases at the peak, its pretty darn pretty. ESPN says northwestern and san jose state have offered. I’d probably put him in the Iwundi/Price camp, in that its probably a long shot at this point.

2013 Michigan PG Austin Price has scheduled official visits to Lehigh and Yale
Well, we’re getting a chance to show off the university, can’t ask for much more then that. If we could ever land Price, I’d be so fired up, so fired up…it’d more then make up for the inevitable when we don’t land a center in next years class, oh I kid cause I only care so so much!
August 16, 2012 at 11:25 am #6458Joseph Chealey update folks, he picked up an offer fom the big east, in UCF.
August 16, 2012 at 3:34 pm #6459Greg Noack from Bethlehem Liberty to Monmouth. Doesn’t look like we offered but Lafayette and a few other mid majors did and we supposedly had interest.
August 20, 2012 at 12:39 am #6468Chealey with another big offer, in southern miss, which appears to be his 25th, so he appears to be long-shot. If you look at our offer list it is hard to believe that any of the following are at al realistic: Chealey, Currington, Iwundi, Taylor, Dustin Thomas.
I think of what we know we’ve offered I’d probably put Price at the top of my wish list. I’ve heard good reports on Greg Senat, heard he had a nice summer, but again, he is a 4 not a 5. Devon Thomas, JC teammate at KUA and AAU Ball for Metro Boston would interest me greatly as well. Worth repeating, Devon Thomas and Greg Senat are pretty tight, as they just played AAU ball together this summer again for metro boston. I’d like JC to bring them both to LU, would be very cool.
One guy on the list who we’ve I’ve not done a ton of work on, but who I’d like to know more about, is Mohamed Bah. Has anyone heard of this guy before or seen him? He just played one year at prep school Lee Academy in maine, and is legit big bodied strong guy who is a full 6’9…he seems to be prototypical late bloomer, as he moved here from Africa last year or the year before, and seems to have a really great body and you hope with a guy like this that the skill catch up to the body/athlete and if so, you have something great…that is really how a PL finds a great big, it has to be a late bloomer story like this…bah video below.not a ton here but you can see some athleticism, a nice projectable frame, and not much else but dunks/put backs…i’ve heard st bonnnies mentioned but not much else, I’m not sure he is even going DI, not a ton out there on him, hoping someone knows something, he is atlest interesting enough to learn more about.

August 20, 2012 at 2:28 pm #6469I would add that Nigel Hayes (Big-10 offers) and Marcus Foster (top 2 of Kansas State and Creighton) are similarly extremely long shots at this point.

August 20, 2012 at 11:43 pm #6471Thanks Sbum, obviously our past comments on Hayes and Foster should have made me include them in my quick list, my bad. We’re underdogs for most of our current “outstanding” offers, or so it seems right now, but sure there are other offers out there that haven’t been reported. Fired up to see who is our first commit in this class though, and it can’t come soon enough!
August 24, 2012 at 12:42 am #6482Senat in the past couple of weeks has done visits to both wagner and drexel.
August 24, 2012 at 12:44 am #6483Austin Price tweeted that 5 Ivies are in on him as well as Iowa and Lehigh. He has finalized an official to Iowa as well, so no matter how you cut it we’re going up against Fran for Price’s services….kind of hope Iowa has a couple other guard offers out there that get accepted so Price can’t go there!
August 27, 2012 at 9:04 pm #6507According to Alex Kline, there is a visitor on campus today, but I don’t have access to know who. Also, here is a tweet that gives more info on Austin Price’s visit:
Rob Howe @HawkeyeInsider
’13 MI Combo G Austin Price officially visiting #Lehigh this wknd, #Yale on 15th, #Iowa on 21st. Story From last wk – http://iowa.scout.com/2/1213513.html
August 27, 2012 at 9:11 pm #6508Another Lehigh related tweet with a prospect I haven’t heard of before. Link to his rivals page below. Judging by the lists it looks like a long shot, but I don’t see reported offers from the big boys.
Garrett Tucker @GTuckerF150
Jalen Norman says he is “focusing the most” on Arkansas, Tennessee, Boston College, Missouri State, Kansas, Lehigh & Oklahoma.
