Agree SB. JRG is very athletic and active. He has a yr to develop a 3. IMO, dont care whether he does as he may be more effective inside 15 ft with a solid midrange shot. Frees up otside shooters as D cant ignore him closer in

We actually offered Vincent a few weeks ago per this tweet and an article on NorCal preps.

2014 St. Mary’s (Stockton) SG Gabe Vincent has added an offer from Lehigh

Since the offer was made before the commitment of Jenkins, this offers (as well as those to other perimeter players) MAY no longer apply.

I want to know who you all think is the number one priority big? Top three bigs?

Hoops, one guy you didn’t mention and intrigues me (although with very little info) is Ngor Barnaba. He played an AAU event in Philly in April that mentioned LU interest. Here was the recap courtesy of CoBL:

–In his first time in Philadelphia, Ngor Barnaba had to have made a solid impression on the coaches who checked out the Minnesota Fury’s 17U squad. A 6-foot-9, 220-pound power forward, Barnaba is more than just a big body, showing the ability to put the ball on the floor and even hit the 18-footer. A Sudanese native who moved to the United States when he was just a year old, Barnaba said he only has an offer from North Dakota State University but is hearing from “STSU, NDSU, Lehigh, Northern Iowa, (and) New Mexico.” La Salle was one local school who watched the Fury’s final game of the weekend.

No idea how things have progressed since then. He has solid measurables and I love his name. More info here: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/recruiting/player-Ngor-Barnaba-141398?colleges=show

And a little video to show why I find him intruiging (again with no knowledge that we are recruiting him hard nor if he is interested). – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxRiVBD6aQ8

Without getting into positions of need or if we will actually get these guys — it is pretty cool that Lehigh is still on the lists for Nate Mason, Keith Pinckney, and C.J. Davis. Check out these offer lists and favorites:

Mason: @CoreyPegram: 2014 Nate Mason said favorites stand at Murray State, UVA, Lehigh, Kansas State, Memphis, Harvard & Minnesota.” He also has offers from Old Dominion, East Carolina, URI, Creighton, Mason, and Clemson among others.

Pinckney: Still listing LU amongst Miami, Xavier, Minnesota, Georgia Tech, Clemson, and a bunch of mid majors.

C.J. Davis: Final seven of Stanford, Columbia, Lehigh, Boston University, Miami, Seton Hall and Davidson.

Pinckney just seems to be naming a whole bunch of schools. But if we are legit on the final lists of Mason and Davis with all those majors – that’s pretty impressive in itself. Mason in particular has already been on campus for an unofficial visit that he said via twitter was “good”.

Another guard with high major options who continues to consider LU. Jevon Carter has a top 3 at the moment of West Virgina, LaSalle, and Lehigh. He’s scheduled to visit WVU on August 30, and Lehigh on September 13.

That’s now 4 guards with serious options who continue to list Lehigh. On a sidenote, it would be kind of funny if Lehigh had both Devon Carter and Jevon Carter on the roster.

Two things I learned a while back rich – you can never Ever have enough guards and you can never ever put your schedule out late enough!!!

Seriously are we last at posting out schedule every single year!

Seems so, Davis the Molloy HS PG had a good visit today at LU.My alma mater so I know he is well coached playing in one of the toughest HS leagues in the country.
