June 21, 2016 at 6:00 pm #27083I’ll be adding a slew of prospects from the various recruiting sites over the next few days. We should be up to date at least with published info.

Queens NY kid transferred to Kiski or PG?? Dont know.June 27, 2016 at 12:51 am #27113Interesting werkend. Some nice visits. Cole Northrup QB from Ga.
Anote to start the week, Gate got their 8TH verbal from a Michigan DB over offers from Yale Temple and Multiple MAC teams.June 28, 2016 at 12:45 pm #27120For those playing along at home: local LV speedster Liaci committed to ‘Nova last evening.
June 28, 2016 at 1:19 pm #27121Tis that time of year. Ugh. Lots of Elsewheres. Visits, offers and verbals.0-2 with Nova so far. The downside of following recruiting. Rationally, you know LU cant even accept a 1/3 of the offers already out. And there will be many more. Still disappointing each time.
July 14, 2016 at 12:33 pm #27206Quick scan of PL recruiting indicates that all have verbals, except Hoyas and Lehigh. Not sure whether that means anything in the long run.
July 14, 2016 at 8:04 pm #27207I am in need of some guidance (Bison, I know you are out there somewhere :-)).
How does the recruiting process work? A coach has 3 openings on his team. He wants 2 big men and a PG. In the process he hands out about 20-25 offers.
If the 5th alternative for PG readily accepts the offer since he doesn’t anticipate a better one, I will assume that the coach is required to provide the scholarship. Does he rescind the offers to the top 4 choices?
It seems to me to be one giant game of chicken.July 14, 2016 at 8:09 pm #27208137 no doubt knows definitely. My sense is coach can pull that offer. Nothing is binding on either party until the NLI is signed. Recruit can always decommit, guess coaches can do the same.
