    Interesting article. Amazing how recruiting in lax and soccer has become so intensely competitive even with a much more limited schollie funding pool than the major sports. While I like seeing these young people committing to Lehigh, the whole process of recruiting frosh and soph HS kids troubles me.

    Many do buck.All sports at LU get financial aid both schollie and need. Title IX requires a balance of aid between men and women athletic need.

    Softball gives scholarships too and they are quite successful and have gathered a following on here. I follow all Lehigh sports and want them all to be successful. It creates a synergy that helps all programs.
