I didn’t see the game. Followed it on radio for most of second half. I was sitting in my car yelling and Going nuts last few mins of the game. Then the last 15 seconds we gave away the game. I can’t stand how we give teams games. We are a bad team. And bad teams find ways to lose. I’ll keep this short. To be honest I don’t Even feel like wasting my energy typing about this team right now. Team. Coaches need to take a step back and look in the mirror. We have to take care of business these next 3-4 games.

Question is. Is it the players ?Coaching? Depth? Combination of all three which is what I think. How do they come out so flat in second half? I also don’t understand why when we were up three, we didn’t just foul them and say ok make your foul shots and we’re getting the ball back. Even if they make 2, we get the ball back up 1. Not sure which game it was but this happened Earlier in year at home and I questioned Brett on his decision not to foul.

ah Travis, they did foul, and it became a 3 pt play for them, lol, comedy of errors in last 30 sec

On a seesaw, W then L, then W then L for last 8 or so games. Need to put together a streak.

Can’t foul that early. They make two and trail by one. Then they try for a steal in backcourt and, if that is not successful, then intentionally foul. If you don’t make both FT’s, then all they need is a two-pointer. If everything goes right for you, then you’re back where you started but with maybe only 10 seconds left.

Intentional foul when up by three isn’t really an option until final 7-8 seconds or less.

That errant pass will be haunting my dreams for a while.

But the truth is, finding a way to lose doesn’t seem to completely describe it. There were literally three different spots to prevent that game-winner from ever even happening, and Lehigh found a way to mess up all three.

Another thing that leaps to mind is, had TK simply hit the ball high in the air with his hand on the inbounds lob, the clock would have expired and we would have had OT.

I don’t know what the problem is with the lack of synergy between KR and TK, but to have any hope the rest of the way they need to discover some, fast.

Actually if TK had let the ball go, LU would have received the ball at half court since there was not a BU player in the area and it would have landed OB.

By the way, on the 3 point play to tie the game, Reed to team: ” Don’t friggin’ foul on any two point attempt!!!!, Even if BU makes it, we still have the lead and the ball”. Really dumb play by smart kids.

The last 15 seconds were about as poorly played 15 seconds in regards to just using your common sense as you’ll ever see,

Recall Ross has thrown many passes like that already this year and also late in a game. I don’t know what’s up with him. His attitude this year stinks to in my opinion. Seems to always be moping when things aren’t going his way. He needs to step up. Well Loyola won over Colgate. We just keep slipping Down

Whoever titled this thread is quite the optimist. I suppose LU could finish .500 in the league (sweep Lafayette, beat HC, American and Army, maybe even Loyola) but to finish .500 on the season they’d have to win out and I’ve seen nothing to make me believe that’s even remotely possible

Read closely my friend. Ha. 500 at best. I think we are all starting to see There’s a very good chance were a bottom four team in this conf. I agree tho. We are a below 500 team. That’s who we are. Loyola game will be a gut check.
