Sunday night at 7:30. For those who find it impossible to attend, it will be broadcast on ESPNU.
May 8, 2012 at 4:15 pm #5918The game is sold out. Hope you have ESPNU, that’s where it will be broadcast, 7:30 PM Sunday!
May 8, 2012 at 7:50 pm #5919TMH guess its 65. couple of yrs back a girl at the ticket office asked me when I graduated, told her and she explained that I could get senior price. Dont recall whether it was wrestling or Bball but I’ve been getting them ever sine when available. I expect a big crowd , certainly more than Bucknell game. My twins (’10) are coming along
May 9, 2012 at 4:01 am #5920Thanks for the info Rich. I still have a few years to go then.
I’ve been told that they sold 2,000 tickets. Ulrich seats 1,600 and they expect the other 4oo to stand along the fence. I suspect that there may be many more standing along the outside fence too since I’m not sure they could be stopped.
BTW, I’m not sure if this site has a lot of lurkers or not. Is there anyone besides me who cares about recruits in sports outside of football & basketball. If not I’ll refrain from posting it.
May 9, 2012 at 9:47 am #5921I’m a 1972 graduate, a Lehigh Valley resident, and have never seen lacrosse other than on tv. But I’m thrilled to see Lehigh has decided to be a power in this up and coming sport. The recent national exposure in football, basketball and now lacrosse is tremendous. I check the site at least daily for any new info. So please keep posting the recruits!
May 9, 2012 at 4:58 pm #5922Definitely keep posting on recruits and anything elae. I’vv posted haphazardly about Lax, WBB recruits but my addiction is football. It would be great to have another pair of eyes searching.
May 11, 2012 at 3:05 am #5929I’m surprised the stopped at 2,000. They sold over 2,000 for the Bucknell game. Should be a raucous crowd and the noisier the better. Glad the game is at Ulrich as it gives us a true “home field” advantage. Players like the surface, playing at Goodman would be on a surface they’re not used to,and Maryland could bring a lot of fans in. Really looking forward to this. Lehigh making noise everywhere.
May 11, 2012 at 4:23 am #5931You can probably get 500 to 1,000 more people outside the fence toward the “end zones” and opposite side of the complex — as happened for the record-setting Bucknell game. Just get there early.
I wonder if all of this will demand that LU add bleachers …
If LU becomes a consistent national power in lacrosse, capacity of 2,000 won’t cut it.
I’ve got longtime lax friends all over the East Coast who have seen LU play. They think we have a chance to win it all … It’s one of the nation’s fastest-growing sports …
May 11, 2012 at 6:45 am #5932Please keep posting. It is a new sport for me, but I am proud of LU making the NCAA. I was in a meeting yesterday when I got the alert that LU was on their way to the NCAA which I showed my colleague. Today I had former Cornell lacrosse player in my office and proudly showed off LU. So proud of the Brown and White. GO LU LU!!!
May 11, 2012 at 2:46 pm #5933I found fence at Bison game very enjoyable. This time I’m going to sit. Certainly more than 2500 at BU. If we can keep Cassesse they will have to double seats. Expect a loud and raucous crowd. It will be a very physical match
