    Berger, Zabala Lead Bears to Series-Evening Win

    PASCO, Wash. – The Yakima Bears (14-17) got a solid outing from Andrew Berger and led wire to wire as they defeated the Tri City Dust Devils (13-17) 5-2 in front of 1,750 fans at Gesa Stadium Monday night.

    Berger (1-1) pitched five innings, allowing one run on four hits while striking our four and walking one to earn his first professional win. Edwar Cabrera (0-3) went 3 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out five and walking three to suffer the loss. Eury De La Rosa pitched the final two frames for the Bears, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out two to notch his third save of the year.
