    When our offensive line coach Brett Sawyer left, many people said it was a major loss for the program. The offensive line has been playing very well and seems to be getting better each week. Kudos to Andy Marino he is obviously doing something right.

    And according to his bio page, these are his recruiting areas: Central and Northern New Jersey, Central Florida (Orlando and Tampa areas)

    Mayes and others would be in his area, unless his assignments are new.

    That would have been Sawyer’s recruiting area last year. I thought the transition took a while to happen. Pass protection was very weak early in the schedule and teams were stacking the box. Running room was tough. In all fairness due to the timing of Sawyer’s departure, Andy didn’t have them very long. They are much improved now. There has been very little pressure on the QB ovr the last 2 games and the holes are opening for the RBs.

    suspect that respect for Mayes arm downfield is opening up running room for backs and loosening WR coverage
