    Brendan Craven QB 6’3 195 (pg) Boston College HS/Choate
    ** ESPN,Rivals ,ESPN top 100 pro style QB.
    Great video. He and Nick lots of competition over the next few yrs. IMO, while not a position of need, always nice to get a QB with potential. Course we have had **s that never saw the field :)

    I watched over half his video from Choate…cant say I was impressed. He has nice frame and feet, but never made an impressive throw. They were all fade routes, the majority of which were caught by one WR who seemed taller than the CBs he was against, making a good play on the ball.

    Not to be the Jaws to a Maziel, but Nick is way more talented as an athlete and passer based on the film of his coming out of Whitehall. And it is more than curious as to why he was available after signing day by almost a month. Unless he was a FBS guy that fell through the cracks (which film doesnt support), its a little suspect.

    Not quite as down on Craven doc but do agree he is not nearly the athlete that Nick is. Nick is our future. Nothing against Matt but unless Nick retrogresses he should start. Watched allofkid/s video.Got bored with fades but he did show some arm on his throws over the middle.With work,he has a great upside as does Timochenko. Some clay for Fulmar to mold. Baur IMOmore athletic than either with a fairly strong arm but seems to be more a runner than a sure passer. If we/regonna run our QB ,cant have too much depth

    Agree Rich, we need some depth and Nick is our future. “Best for Last’ had me a little more excited, as he isnt really our top grab in a class with some guys who really look great on film.

    I like depth, but it should be spread out. Whereas Nick was more heavily recruited, and UNH offered him among others, the others guys we have do not seem to have had the same interest from our CAA brethren. Those are the QBs we should be going after, and with scholarships and our offensive history, should land.

    Cant wait til spring ball.

    True enuf. With Craven, his rating FWIW, shows at least potential. Went back, no evident activity on him coming out of BB HS.
    A number of feelers but no offers that I could find. Timochenko likewise not much of a ripple. Likely due to injury. We lose 3 QBs next yr. Depth necessary. B
