I’m not sure that “stepped down” is exactly accurate – at least at the moment. At present he has taken a leave of absence, with pay, but is still considered the Head Coach.

How long the leave lasts – or whether it becomes permanent – likely depends on what evidence comes out of HC’s investigation and/or depositions.
