I thought I’d try to get some chatter going on the status of this message board. Do you like it? Dislike it? Looking for improvements? Inquiring minds want to know :)

SinceI am nosy,I saw this. Why not tell everyone on football to come here for views.

Probably just me but I liked open all in one format. Gets everyone involved with everything.

Weird but maybe colors could be perked up. Basic format as to subjects OK.

I think this board is great. Thanks for all your hard work putting it together. The board that needs improvement is the Goodman Scoreboard. We need to catch up with Lafayette and Colgate and get rid of that old relic.

Is there any way to mark all forums as read?

There is. Go under each "Forum" (ex. Lehigh Football), scroll to the bottom and click "Mark All Topics Read". This will make every post under that forum "read".

Couple quick thoughts. Nothing urgent, but I have the time and they’re on the mind. I suspect they are really questions for WordPress

    1. Is there a way to add the function to jump to latest post? From the “What fans are talking about” section, it would be great to jump to the most recent post, rather than page one of 16.

    2. Is there functionality available for “private messages”? Seems like it would be handy if we were trying to meet up or something, and didn’t want to publicly post phone numbers and such…

Finally – I love the site, Chuck. Thanks for all that you do.

I had the same question as todd’s #1, some of the posts get pretty long and jumping straight to the most recent would be a nicety

and second the big thanks to Chuck for all he does

Remove what fans are talking about on the right side.Remove archived months also. Make each sport available at the top so the common fan can then go into the board they want.Football rules the board. so make available opponents message boards and news prior to each game. Figure out why people go to AGS to talk about and get news on the next game rather than here. Honestly the LU board is way behind on graphics, stats, than other boards. I will always check here and respond, but wish it was my first site.

Time to get rid of “a millio times better than ….

If we are better, than it will be made clear on the field and through achievements rather than assertions that are defensive and undeserving of this board.

F- laffy, we as posters do not play the game on the field but will always hate our rival. Love it or Leave it!

    Good suggestions.

My biggest pet peeve (repeated from some above): Too often the chains get too long and latest ones take a while to get to.

Another idea: The more we can give each other links to what we’re talking about (another story, video), the better …

And, thank you, Chuck, for what you do …

FYI I changed the tagline to something better. Hope y’all like it. Feels like Lehigh overall needs to rebuild to championship caliber across most sports.
