Does anyone know on here if they are running a bus trip to Boston or anything for the game ?

This is a really tough spot for Lehigh on road at BU. Obviously, we have lost to them twice by double digits. Both games we looked horrible. We didn’t shoot it well in either game, 35% and 42%. Also, shot it poorly from 3.

I think you can pencil TK in for his usual 18-25 and 10 boards. Key is going to be if our perimeter guys can knock down jump shots. Big game for AP, KR, KL and BA. And, if JC and PA could give us a spark off the bench that would be huge.

I am very concerned about this one. Hoping that BU can’t beat us 3x. At least, the home court advantage there is limited. They will be lucky to put 800 in the building. Only 510 saw the QF.

I share your concerns L90. It’s gut check time for TK and AP. They carried their teammates for much of Thursday’s game. If they want to keep playing they may have to do it again

Not iptimistic. Team has to play much better than last game. Key can we solve this zone finally? Hope so.

The Terriers are one win away from winning 3 in a row over Lehigh – all in one season. Checkout the ugly reminders of Game 1 and Game 2 below. In fact, doomsayers will tell you that Lehigh’s lone win at BU came in OT in 2014 (82-80) on a last-second layup by Mackey McKnight. What chance, therefore, do we have? Plenty, I say. And, I’m banking on the theory of “lessons learned” and an inspired defense to pull this one out and send us into the Finals.

    LU vs. BU (ugly reminders)

      Game 1 @ BU

    Loss 61-75

    Reed:
“I didn’t feel we had the right players making the right attacks against their zone.

“But in a night when we were on our heels, we were on our heels defensively and we were on our heels offensively. It’s a shame because that’s not the way we play.”

    We committed 20 turnovers

We hit just 6 of 20 from deep (30%)

      Game 2 @ Stable

    Loss 59-76

    Reed:
“As a team, we really talk about and try to promote an element of toughness,” said Reed. “Today, when things weren’t going right, I didn’t feel like we displayed the toughness we needed to right the ship and bounce back. Teamwork is a major component of everything that we do, and that’s what you need when you have a bad loss and have to turn around quickly.”

BU wins the Second Chance Point Battle by 14 (1 7 to3)

We hit just 8 of 30 from deep (26.7%)

14 for 50 from the 3, does BU defend the 3 that well or what?

Good first half. BU ice cold and we shot 39% from 3.

Whew! Considering it looked like Lehigh had the game in hand in the 2nd half, that was tougher than it had to be, but I’ll take the win.

Great win. Gutted it out. TK huge and BA really coming on. Time to root for Navy.

I only wish I were there to see it in person. Never left my couch. Headed to Lewisburg. Hope to see Trav, 90, and other diehards out there.

A salute to our seniors: TK and AP. Not to be denied they poured in 54 of our 91 points and pulled down 17 of our 38 boards. AP played 44 of the 50 minutes and I never saw him take a deep breath. Tim gutted out 38 minutes with what seemed like 15 of them carrying 4 PFs.
Hats off to the coaching staff, as well.
Late switch to zone defense and timely use of time outs. It all seemed to work today, when so often it didn’t in the past.

Worries? For sure. Like before, yet noW magnified. THE BENCH. With PA going down (seen on crutchers), what was an 8 man-rotation is now 7. There’ll be more guys dressed in blue suits/blazers than uniforms on Wednesday night.
