SB hit the right word. Identity. A veteran team led by best player in PL with a top PG and a top shooting G , yet the 3 rarely seem to be able to all show up at the same time. For whatever reason we seem incapable of adjusting in game or for that matter learning how to approach opponents’s schemes. Why?
Why is it that neither AP nor KR will take theif shots?.Particularly on a night when KL could not shoot well.

A mystifying performance, at home, and against a team we’ll need to be able to beat. BU won because they defended well. LU should play better given the talent level, but maybe this one’s on the coaches. No excuse for not making adjustments.

This is clearly on Brett and his staff. They don’t do a good enough job of coaching offense, especially v. zone. I really don’t have a problem with taking jump shots, but you have to be on-balance when you’re shooting them. We took a boatload of forced jumpers (which we missed, of course) and then tried to force the ball through defenders to avoid taking jumpers. Bad strategy, bad execution, bad result.

I saw this embarrassment in person. A complete loss of composure by a veteran team. 20 turnovers. Many on a simple 3/4 court trap press. We continually dribbled into it and then we waited for the triple team. Almost like we had never seen a press. Over and over.

And absolutely no flow or aggressiveness when we did get it past the press. They all acted as though scared to make a mistake. Very hard to watch. It all seemed to come apart after the Andree injury.
