Notes up. No changes.
November 1, 2016 at 6:16 pm #29123Okay, I’ll be the voice of caution. Lehigh should beat the Bison, but…Lehigh should have beaten Bucknell three years ago too.
This year’s freshmen may remember: a one-loss Lehigh team goes to Lewisburg, fumbles the opening kickoff and it goes down hill from there. Two quarterbacks get knocked out of the game and a freshman QB gets his first meaningful snaps. Lehigh loses 48-10.
Again, LU should win Saturday, but it hasn’t happened yetNovember 2, 2016 at 3:02 am #29140Bucknell plays soft, under no conditions do they stand a chance. Lehigh wins by 30. Can’t wait for the next two games to be over so LU can play a real team in the playoffs.

Agreed. “Let’s be careful out there.”
November 2, 2016 at 3:58 pm #29149The weather for Saturday is projected to be picture perfect.
Bucknell’s top two wideouts (Carter and Alston) did not play in their last game….any update on their status?
Took a quick look at the CSU game which Bucknell lost 49-28. CSU ran for almost 300 yards. They were penalized 15 times for 131 yards. They also turned the ball over 3 times including 2 that led directly to Bucknell TDs. One was a fumble on their own goal line.November 5, 2016 at 9:10 pm #29192Hell of a gritty W and the D did it.
OL was dominated 1st half. Shut down our O. Came out on fire in the 2nd. Gave Shaf time and Brags holes. Now for Pards to clinch sole possession of title.
PATRIOT LEAGUE CHAMPS.
Trophy home where it belongs.November 5, 2016 at 9:29 pm #29193
Bucknell plays soft, under no conditions do they stand a chance. Lehigh wins by 30. Can’t wait for the next two games to be over so LU can play a real team in the playoffs.
where is Buck the troll now?
November 5, 2016 at 10:50 pm #29202Brags needs 4 yds for his next 1000.
TP and GC have theirs.November 6, 2016 at 12:08 pm #29207Lehigh played their worst and Bucknell played their best and Lehigh still won. Also wondering why some of my posts are being deleted? Must this board be all vanilla?
November 6, 2016 at 2:27 pm #29208Buck, I don’t know that they are being deleted. They’re just being ignored.

+1.November 6, 2016 at 3:51 pm #29213Bucknell played a hell of a game. I thought, for the most part, both our offensive and defensive lines were out played. The turnovers and the place kicking made the difference. That botched exchange between Shafnisky and Brags was our first fumble of the season. Brags is very good at protecting the ball. Kudos to the defense for making that fumble irrelevant to the outcome of the game.
November 6, 2016 at 6:31 pm #29216Hard for me to imagine why anyone would ignore my posts.
that fumble was not on Brags
November 7, 2016 at 1:02 am #29223as once stated on here before, we lose a game and 50 post appear, all negative, we win and very little. I guess very little about the past 8 games because we’ve won. I think we have improved tremendously as a team from Monmouth. What strikes me is that we have been the team to make adjustments at the half, and that is because of the coaching staff, nice job there. We also have done well protecting the ball, and unlike past seasons we have created turnovers. This team is very well prepared and coached, and I think the players are responding. After the first 2 games, I was suspect of the hype I heard from camp. I’m a believer now. Great job guys, Beat Laffy.
