You boys (and girls) ready for Friday? I know we can’t wait to see McCollum take on Jackson in Waco. Both teams are coming off great NCAA tournaments and are ready to go. I’ll post a BU preview as soon as we finish getting beat by Kansas in football.

The first player to preview is our best player.

PG Pierre Jackson, Sr. 5’10 (yeah right)

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geyI6REhRaA (not sure how to imbed on here)

    13.8 ppg, 5.9 apg, 1.8 steals per game, 40% from 3, 82% FT

He’s a lightning quick pg who is super athletic and has a great 3 point shot. His problems are being realistically around 5’8 playing defense is difficult on bigger point guards.

Up tomorrow is SG Brady Heslip

Thanks BaylorHistory, keep the posts going. I think Jackson vs McCollum match-up won’t be a primary match-up, instead Jackson will go up against Mackey McKnight. I think Walton starts the game on CJ and then Bello and others rotate on CJ throughout the game.

On our side, BJ probably gets first crack at Brady.

    SG Brady Helsip Jr. 6’2

    10.2ppg, 45% from 3, 92% ft

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=at3zEBZ___Y (both Pierre and Brady, play on mute)

Brady is our best shooter. He will drive, but prefers to stay on the outside and keep defenses honest. He went 9-12 from 3 to send us to the Sweet 16 last year vs Colorado. Is listed by CBS as the #2 3pt shooter in the country. His fault too is defense as he is by far the least athletic of anyone that gets minutes on our team.

Up next is a preview of both AJ Walton and Deuce Bello
