Just noticed Buskirk was moved to TE during camp. Puzzling move.

I thought one pic showed this. Team is missed managed particularly the D. Look at starting LBs…mostly Rovers. Yes? Who coaches them now? Previous Rover coach. It appears best 11 does not matter at Lehigh.

Here we go….let the negativity begin.

PL Champions last year and some how this team is mismanaged.

I’m 100% confident that the coaches are doing their best to put the best players on the field. Things happen everyday in the weight room, class room, film room, and on the field that we don’t see.

We all knew our linebackers were going to be young and untested. Switching to a 4 man front is a sign that the coaches are aware of this and that one of the strengths of this team is it’s D line…they made the switch to put more of those players on the field. Smart coaching….at least on the surface.

It remains to be seen if it will work but we will soon find out soon enough.

not sure who the starting LBs are, but if it’s Woetzel and Seighman, they are hardly rovers

gotta figure Walker is in the mix too

    can’t wait for game notes

Puzzling but no call for bitching. Sutyak knows what he wants at LB. In 4-2 the 2 LBs must be athletic and fast enough to drop in coverage. Sutyak must have determined that there are more athletlic LBs to fill spots. Our base will be 4-2-5 with all 5 being DBs. The 3rd DB is essentially the R. Against a run 1st O like Nova we can Flex to a LB at that spot. 4-2 is a very good run D and effective vs deep toutes. Weakness is in the flats with flares et al. LB have to be quick and accurate with their reads. DL crucial to protect inside lanes so LBs can drop and pick up RBs flaring or short mid field routes.
Also scheme is ideal for multiple blitzes :)
