    CJ is expected to make his NBA debut on January 7 against Kings. What his role will be is still to be decided.

    CJ made his professional debut tonight although in the developmental D League. He seemed to knock some of the rust off quite nicely though. Here is his line

    17 min 13 points 6 rebounds 6 assists 2 steals and 3 TO

    His next game is tomorrow night before reportedly making his NBA debut on Tuesday.

    Side note: The Trailblazers seem to have another dynamic scoring guard in the D-League. Pierre Jackson from Baylor is averaging about 33 ppg after 4 games with 2 40 pointers already to his credit.

    Second game, 24 points on 23 shots in 24 minutes. His foot may hold up, but if he keeps shooting at that pace, he is going to develop a right arm injury. That is some serious gunning.

    Interesting that Pierre Jackson, who CJ played against with Baylor last year, is also on the Idaho Stampede roster. He was drafted, but didn’t stick in the NBA. He is averaging 30 a game in the D league, so I have to assume he is going to be heading to the NBA soon with somebody.

    CJ dressed and on bench last night, but a DNP – coach’s decision. Stotts quoted as saying “didn’t think it was the right time to play him”. Portland back at home tonight on second night of back to back. I expect CJ to get his first NBA run tonight in front of home fans.

    I believe CJ’s 4 points, 2 rebounds and a steal are all new Lehigh records for points scored in the NBA. He needs only 2,986 more points to break the Patriot League record. :-)
