    OK, camp almost here.

Will anyone step up on O to be a difference maker? Clark, Colvin. Gordon,Drwal ????
We seem to have lots of solid kids in the skill positions. QBs, rbs and wrs. Who will step up?
Will Cecchini be able to focus this group?

Can Coen get this team to win close games? Am tired of reading about his looking for a solution to that problem.

D lost some very good players. Can they sustain last year’s level. Perhaps, given our early schedule , can they be better?

Which Clark will show up this year? Lum, better athlete, bigger arm faster but decision making was atrocious last year. Colvin even better athlete but very raw passer. Can Cecchini get a good qb out of this mix?

Does anyone know what happened to the Ohio A-S db Hanhauser. He was on spring roster, not on updated roster??

Frosh bring in 3 good rbs but only Soto from Fla seems to be a speed guy. Kablan a mystery has size and best speed but so far has not been able to get up to FCS level. Other 2 seem in the Walker Barket mold hard running but not particularly fast kids, altho Sherman may surprise there.

From what I heard, Kablan is gone. The kid showed flashes of great potential his freshman year, but wasn’t able to accliimate.
The D unit may be better than last years, as a whole. Yes, Benning and Cohen are gone, but as a group, I think these guys can be better.
Offense will come down to staying healthy on the line as I am concerned about depth. The starters are solid to excellent. QB is the huge ? Someone has to grab the position by the throat.

Hope the WR can create more separation this year and help the QBs. Maybe new schemes from OC will help.

Overall D will be better , I think. Benning and Cohen were difference makers. Who will take the lead this year? Pierce, if he can stay healthy, can be one of the best we’ve had. Newton, Rivas, Taylor, green, are an excellent group. Agree key for this year and avoiding a continued stirng of close losses is a consistent O. Qb,QB,QB !!!!

I think Cecchini will be able to recreate the LU Offense. I hope he will be able to stabilize QB spot. he certainly will be a vast improvement over the prior OC.

AFAIK Kablan is still on the roster. And while Campbell seems to be "the man" this year at RB, I get the impression that it’s a real battle for the backup position with Walker, Barket, Kablan, Fitz, and Dormevil. I could see any one of those five getting rotated in.

What time is the scrimmage on Wednesday night? Will this be on the Whitehead Fields or in Ulrich Stadium?
