Today per twitter (incl pic with Andy)

Brandon Yosha 6’1 190 WR/RB Carmel,Ind

Played frosh yr,2012, at U of Miami as a PWO got into 6 games. In HS ranked as #7 RB in US by Rivals as a jr before knee injury. Miami move him to the slot as a WR. Not clear but it looks like he sat out this year,so probably eligible immediately.Seems Andy offered him in Oct, accepted tday.

Researching he was active for preseason in Aug but held out due to injury. Does not appear on roster for season so guess is he did not play this year.

Per Yosha
In the process of transferring schools. Played my first season of college football at the University of Miami. Lettered as a true freshmen. Traveled every game. Named Academic ACC honor roll team as well. Was granted full release by UM after training camp this year with restriction to ACC teams only. Healthy, hungry, and ready to find a new program and enroll this Spring. NCAA rules will allow me to transfer into any school and play next season as long as it’s not an ACC school with 3 years eligibility remaining.

Brandon will be a bit of an enigma when he arrives on campus.It looks like he came into HS with huge expectations but torn his ACL which cost him his junior and senior season. Although his stats in his senior year were pretty good, Miami must have seen something they really liked. I look forward to seeing what he will add to our backfield next year.

Thks TMH. Some Miami video,lots of HS. A 4.6/40 tough .
K, dont jump off any bridges,Miami had him as a slot receiver. Reminds me of Drawl.

Just wondering where you got your information on his position. Miami lists him as only playing on special teams in 6 games.

Miami listed him at slot receiver. Google gremlins assisted. Also , in 1st yr write ups ne wad listed at rb. 2013 was date on slot listing.

Now of course cant replicate my wanderings. I do recall it was dtd in Aug 2013.everything prior to that was as RB slated for STs

This is great news. The need for strong competition and depth at RB is a top three priority with loss of Sherman and Farrell. Hopefully, he is fully recovered from his h.s. injuries cause it looks like he could be challenging to start. With the QB competition, this Spring should be fun to watch!
