Quick search on Gage. Chris Sailer Kicking rated him at 4 1/2*s out of 5.
His KO avg was 67 yds and P avg 40yds.
Noted he had an offer from Yale.

This signing puzzles me a little. We just signed 2 K/P in the last class although one is being designated as a kicker and the other as a punter. Don’t let the 4 1/2 stars fool you. 5 stars means he is a Div 1 talent. 4 stars means that he is a Div 2 talent. He still has a season to go and I’m guessing he is being groomed as a punter.

Gven our track record with Ks and Ps,cant fault Andy for backing up spots.
McMullen from Ill. is the P and Mish the K. Agree Wilsons looks to be a P.

This kid was obviously in the Snoop documentary ESPN did about his son. If this commit holds it could play dividends in a couple of ways. Any type of connection to a program like Bishop Gorman is good…

Maybe so owl. Gorman a top Natl program. Wilson probably a one off tho. He wants a double major in computer science and business which we offer. If nothing else always nice beating out HYP for a recruit. :)

Hmmmm…..coincidentally Musikfest just announced that Snoop Dogg is coming to Bethlehem this summer. Coincidence? :-)

never waste a scholarship on a kicker. offer a preferred walk on. Even most FBS schools can find an ex- soccer player that would love to make and contribute to he team. K/P is the least need of most teams when you score TDs .

    Rich,
Apparently just relevant enough to headline a show at Musikfest….and maybe scope out a campus nearby :-)

Miller, I’m not quite in agreement. The kicking game is very relevant on two fronts, field position and obviously FGs and extra points. There have been plenty og games that have come down to that. I have no idea what kind of schollies are being given out but I was under the impression that Mish and McCollum were interchangeable. One is designated as our kicker and the other as our punter but both could do each. I don’t want to spend too much schollie money on kickers.

I wont argue how much a P should get but you are wrong about the need for both a K and a P. FBS cannot give partials but they are just as in need of Ks as the rest of us. Of the two,I would rank a good P as more important and worth a schollie. Likely that neither McMullen nor Wilson getting a full ride. The myth of walk on soccer players ,if ever true, certainly is not accurate today.

love that were recruiting powers like Bosco and Gorman. easier transition to college level, not only speed of the game but also the demands and rigors that being a part of a college football program requires. excited about the bosco guy we have coming in, hopefully the first of many. kid can play i hope he can recruit!! Lol

That league that Bosco plays in is fantastic high school football ! The kids from Bosco know how to compete . They have played on a national stage and have played in big games ! A nice pipeline Bosco to Lehigh is going to emerge !
