For those who enjoy seeing Lehigh ranked among the regional powers, Men’s Cross Country moved from # 11 to #6 in the MidAtlantic region. Among those still ahead of Lehigh are national powers Georgetown, Penn, Princeton and Villanova. Navy at #5 is the only Patriot League team ranked higher than Lehigh. This team is still quite young.
Both the men and women take on Lafayette tomorrow.

Lehigh begins the 2016-2017 competition with Lafayette 2-0 with dominating performances in both men’s and women’s cross country.
On the men’s side Lehigh captured the 1st 16 spots doing nothing to diminish their #6 ranking in the Mid Atlantic region.
Hannah Bonaguidi ran away with her 2nd top finish in as many meets to lead the women who captured 8 of the top 10 spots.
I think that there may be a real battle for top female freshman this year.
