    LU dead last in announced verbals . Scary but no different than last year.

    Pards 11
    Bucknell 9

    It’s probably not that important right now. The bigger question is, what’s the quality of the players the other teams are getting? Is the quality of player better now that we’ve moved into the scholarship era?

    Overall, yes. Pards have a number of potential difference makers. also. BU.
    Fordham small class as they are almost capped. Athletes. Gate nothing superall solid players better than the preschollie “solid”. Cross did get some speed and athletes but not a major boost.
    Expect the later half of Jan to be intetesting.

    If you’re an offensive player and the OC leaves — or you read of the rumblings on the DCs on this board or others — are you going to be among the first to commit?

    It will be interesting to see how many kids go with Cecc, the gang to Valpo.

    This year could be interesting, perhaps with some latecomers via new coaching staff.

    I really don’t think we’ll lose kids because Dave left, and I certainly don’t think we’ll see any of our potential recruits follow Dave out to Valpo. No scholarships there, right? If anyone thinks I’m wrong about the impact of Dave leaving, please correct me.

    PFL is non schollie. The kids we are recruiting have offers from otherschollie teams. Losing him and all the other coaches wont help recruiting uncommitted kids but not to go to Valpo. Would be nice to have OC inplace soon to close deals in this class. Hope Faragalli is the guy. Excellent coach and awesome recruiter.
    Campus visits coming up in the next few weeks. Andy a very good closer.

    Rich, is he actually in the running? Is there mutual interest? Or is it just a rumor/wishful thinking on our part?

    Two sources confirm he was offered slot. Whether he applied or Andy reached out ,all speculation.

    Oh, meant to post earlier but FCS dead period ended 1/6. Guess, the few coaches we have left are busy.:)
