For the third year in a row the team loses to Army in the first round of the playoffs. Keeping the ‘m.o.’, Lehigh only shot 28% and 1 for 17 from 3 point range! Hall scores only one basket on a 10 point night, on 1 for 13 shooting. Obviously blanketed all night and no one else could hit from outside. Only bright spots were usual tough play by Carrington with 14 pts and 13 rebs and freshman John Adams starting and getting 12 pts and 11 rebs. Team at one time was 10-3. Hard to believe. Finishes season 15-14.

That’s a killer having Hall have that kind of game. Raiders advance with Jonson and the frosh leading the way.

Gotta give credit to the guys who fought hard but just couldn’t put in the 3 at the end when they needed it to tie the game. Army sensibly followed the gameplan the rest of the PL followed, which was to triple-team Hall on the outside, triple-team Carrington on the inside and make anyone else beat them. John Adams looks like one to watch next year with a breakout game for him with a double-double (or if not, close to it), but nobody else came close to stepping up to the challenge.

Hall and Carrington need a supporting cast for next year. They’re great players, but they can’t do it with guys triple-teaming them.

Congrats to Army. They played hard, physical ball and deserved the win.

Yeah Raider, you advanced into a disgraceful blowout loss to Holy Cross led by all of your great players. But you hung in there for almost 5 minutes. Thanks for your sympathy.
