DC is in the playoff section of the schedule. In the Round 1 game, he scored 25 in an easy win, followed by 32 in a Round 2 win. He plays in the District Semifinals tonight. No doubt, last night’s win will inspire him. Any Clevelanders among us? Game tips at 6 PM.
March 8, 2012 at 11:03 pm #5252Yes 90, big game for john hay tonight. Next year with mm, cj, bjb, and dc oh my god if we don’t run teams out of the gym… We are talking about big tie athletic backcourt man, wow. Very exciting stuff. Love to think reed will shaka smart it and run that pressing stye that I’ve been dreaming about for two years now.
March 9, 2012 at 3:30 am #5260Nobody is going to touch that backcourt next year. I thought about that very late last night that Lehigh has taken a step above Bucknell and should be favorite next season. But, I then remembered that Dominic Hoffman, incoming for Bison, is a total stud. He is dominating top notch competition here in NJ, and his talent level exceeds the mid-major level. With him, Muscala and Willman, Bucknell will have a top notch frontcourt. So, it will be tough again, no doubt. Lehigh is going to need some bigs to help Gabe next year, and not sure they are on roster, unless KM healthy or CB really makes strides, and he is a bit short. Hoffman looks like real deal, and a couple of coaches I know have been praising him all season. He can hang with St Patrick’s and St Anthony’s talent, and that is saying a lot, as the good players in those programs play at top 20 college programs. He is about 6’7″ give or take, can score, board and block shots. But, hard to sometimes project. AD dominated NJ Catholic league competition as well, but the North Jersey programs are much stronger than SJ programs. His school Gill St Bernards is in midst of a deep State title run.
March 9, 2012 at 9:17 am #5269I thought KM was out. What about the Justin Goldsborough? He looks long. CB is shorter, but athletic and can get after it. Gabe will need help. While he had a great game last night, on occasion, he has hit a slump. Thank goodness he was on, as someone said, the seniors were not at their best. The vocal leadership was on. Great job LU. Can’t believe it. I have nagged and fought with other posters, but at the end of the day, we all wanted them to do their best as a cohesive unit and they did.
March 9, 2012 at 11:46 am #5270We have had zero ZERO zero KM updates…board is in total state of confusion about the young man’s health going into next year….HE IS CRITICAL for next year, critical..

March 9, 2012 at 4:13 pm #5278re: KM
I spoke to KM before tip-off of what I believe was the Holy Cross game at Stabler on Februay 4th. He said his recovery was “coming along.” I have not seen the young man – usually decked-out in coat and tie – take his customary seat at the end of the bench since then! I can not speak to the games during my travels away from home {@ AU (2/9), CU (2/11), @ BU (2/16), LC (2/18), or @ Navy (2/22)}, but can say he wasn’t present @Army (2/25) or during our playoff run.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we had some present day students on this Board to help with solve this mystery.
March 9, 2012 at 4:58 pm #5279Only 10 points and 7 rebounds for Carter last night. But, his team won by 38, so I have to assume his playing time was limited.
