    Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) – Villanova offensive tackle Ben Ijalana leads a contingent of 17 players from Football Championship Subdivision schools who have been invited to participate in the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine.

    All 32 NFL teams will evaluate over 300 of the nation’s top college players for the NFL Draft. Participants will be scheduled over four-day periods from Feb. 23 to March 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts.

    Appalachian State leads the way for FCS schools with three invites to the Combine with offensive tackle Daniel Kilgore, free safety Mark Legree and linebacker D.J. Smith,

    Other FCS players expected to participate are The Citadel cornerback Cortez Allen, Missouri State offensive tackle David Arkin, Delaware quarterback Pat Devlin, Hampton defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis, Southeastern Louisiana offensive tackle Kevin Hughes, Eastern Washington running back Taiwan Jones (a junior), Northern Iowa tight end Schuylar Oordt, Richmond defensive tackle Martin Parker and cornerback Justin Rogers, Montana State offensive tackle Mike Person, Lehigh offensive tackle Will Rackley, Chattanooga cornerback Buster Skrine and Portland State tight end Julius Thomas
