Good lord, it’s completely broken down here. Can’t wait to see what the ‘pard board has to say about this mess of a board. holyloch – if you watched the game, you saw every pass over 10 yards quacked. Every. One. If you don’t see how offensive LG’s post was, you’re fooling yourself. It was nonsense stereotypes. Read it again. Is Pelletier not our best player on the field? Who cares what he looks like?
If you’re trying to compare current passing to BB – you haven’t been paying attention.November 9, 2014 at 5:35 am #16561Todd I was at the GAME .How is it OFFENSIVE to state a FACT that our players are slow ,no matter what color or race they are . Maybe you should watch the game again and this time wear your glasses .To state all the QB’s passes were DUCK’s is being a little overboard ,you don’t throw for almost 400 yds THROWING DUCKs . As for last years QB maybe you should review some of last years games and see how often he threw the ball over 15 yards .
November 9, 2014 at 6:16 am #16564We tend to forget that Pelletier is a PG and a year older and more experienced than the other frosh WRs. Agree todd he is a star and will be for the next 4 yrs.
November 9, 2014 at 6:31 am #16565You may go to every game holy ,kudos does not make you’re comments correct. Nick does not have a strong arm . Any pass over 25-30 is an arc. BB’s arm not much better but he was more accurate. Pass attack was very productive to day. The yds gained were mostly after the catch.
We all agree we want better players. To specify that our current players are slow white guys is just stupid. Yeah,I would live to have Carter or Edmonds. We recruited them, just didn’t get them. You might find it helpful to scan the rosters of PL squads to see their makeup. FU’s top 2 WRsare FBS transfers.November 9, 2014 at 1:56 pm #16567I’m interested to hear what people desire for height and speed on these WR. Realistically, if we get a 6’3 receiver, he’s probably running a 4.6 (Kurfis – 6’2, 4.6); otherwise, you’re getting someone around 6′ maybe 6’1 running a 4.5 (Spadola – 6’1, 4.5). I did my research!!!!! The 6’3 or taller, fast guys, as you call them, are going to the FBS not Lehigh; it’s just not going to happen. Even the top speedsters at Bucknell and Fordham are 6’1 or shorter and has Rich said they were transfers.
November 9, 2014 at 2:05 pm #16568Good point aman. The fastest WR,ICR at LU was Gerran at 4.29. He was 5’10-11.4.5-6 is very fast. Not up to SEC fast true:).We have a lot of 6’2 and up WRs now.Fastest LU guy ICR with height was Kreider.I would be happy if we had a lot less drops.:)
November 9, 2014 at 9:10 pm #16594I’ve cleaned up this thread. Don’t make me clean it up again.
November 9, 2014 at 9:18 pm #165951-Should have been up by 10 in the 1st. Wasn’t Sodekes fault. The whole follow the FB is a great call but poorly executed. There was 3-4 yards between the backs, when the TB needs to be on the FBs butt.
2-Other than 2 Dlineman in a rotation…the back 7 never subbed(other than your senior captain#29) came in for 4 plays on short yardage. Kondas and Robb must be in the dog house.
3-many young guys played, but same result,as techniques are poor.
4-My afternoon was ruined when I had such a pathetic excuse for a fan(his son plays Oline) constantly being such an ass and totally negative in the stands. When we made a good play,he was silent, but couldn’t wait to show his ass on any miscue.Especially on defense, were he would berate players and positions, I could tell he knew nothing about the game. No wonder his wife does not sit with him.(maybe that was LG or 61)
5-Lehigh Guy, your posts earlier are what I never thought we’d get here on LSF. nothing wrong with constructive criticism, but you truly are an embarrassment to the brown and white.-

November 10, 2014 at 3:27 pm #16604Each kid transitions to D 1 football at their own rate. Many of our very best never saw the field as frosh. And I can recall others that did,who had solid careers but never got much better. This year not one to set as a benchmark for the team or any individual player. Way too many changes in coaches, players, injuries et al. Patience for all of us.
November 10, 2014 at 4:40 pm #16608I’ve deleted more posts as attempting to “out” someone by name is not how we do things around here.
I am VERY tolerant of speech, language and I seek to have an outlet for the frustration, which is why I haven’t banned anyone from the site. But I won’t let the site get dragged to a racial discussion, nor will I tolerate saying “Are you x’s dad?” posts, either.
I’ve never needed to be a heavy moderator before but that has now changed. Those are the rules. Please abide by them
