2 deep Caslow and Nunes back starting. Yosha still out.
Game has been compared to Ga.Tech vs Cumberland by some on boards. A Rodney Dangerfield momentOctober 21, 2014 at 6:34 pm #16145I wish we had a MERCY RULE to fall back on .I only hope we do not get to many injuries on SAT .
October 21, 2014 at 7:07 pm #16147At least all the kids might get to play! Why not, its FAMILY DAY
October 21, 2014 at 11:01 pm #16152I will speak for many LG, WE ALL HOPE your kid gets to play. Then maybe? probably not, you will stop being the most negative voice on this board. Don’t go and allow your family that peace.
Come On Man???? It ain’t little league and everyone gets a trophy.October 22, 2014 at 11:51 am #16157Miller, WHAT are you talking about. Kid on the team? LOL, because I want the best players out there? I think I was the ONLY person that called for a UPSET of Fordham. The most negative? Probably the most TRUTHFUL. Everything I have called for and seen, has come to pass. Maybe if you werent such a homer, you would see things for what they really are. I’m glad the coaches are starting to come around, but they jobs do depend on it.

Not really,IMO. You want the best athletes, not necessarily the best players. I wish the two were always synonyms. They aren’t. 24 fr and so. played last week in an away game. If we had same sched as last yr,we would likely be 4-2. Well we dont and we’re paying the price.October 22, 2014 at 2:42 pm #16161Thats what i’ve been calling for, MORE fresh. and Sophs sprinkled in with the upperclassmen. Why it took this long is baffling. Is it a coincidence we played more underclassmen and won, or was it just Cornell? Maybe if we wouldve played them earlier we might have more wins?? We was in every game but one. I said #14,#90,#80 should of been getting more PT, they did last week. I know more kids that i think should be in the rotation. I cant believe #58 is not starting #2 on depth chart. He brings it on that DL and causes disruption.
October 22, 2014 at 2:56 pm #16162You’re arguing for time travel. If they were ready, yeah perhaps another win or two. The takeaway actually is that so many fr and soph were on the travel squad and they played.
Home this week against a vastly superior team to Nell. Win,lise,I want to see how we compete. A game or a rout?October 22, 2014 at 3:26 pm #16164Line-em up and see what happens.
October 22, 2014 at 5:41 pm #16166Yosha to play Sat per Greg Joyce. Coen announced today. How much TBD. Cant hurt. Glad Brandon healthy again.
October 23, 2014 at 12:44 am #16167LG, I am a homer and a very realistic fan. You my friend should go to ncaamarket.ncaa.org/jobs and start looking for work, since it is clearly obvious you my friend are the next Paul Bryant. If you haven’t been close to the program or kids, you will not understand. Watching practice is great, but there is much more. Usually the upperclassmen have a better grasp of the schemes and are trusted more than the young guns. No matter what you say or think, our record would only be better if the kids that are playing and coaches prepared better. Like I said, enjoy Family Day and don’t ruin it for all your family. I’m only speaking from the past, well about the team, not your game day experience.
October 23, 2014 at 11:50 am #16171Miller i will be streaming the game on the PLN! No need to look for a job, but I am a VERY good evaluator of talent. Ive watched more practices than anybody besides the coaches! I’m sure I got more inside info than most on this board. Yes the upperclassmen SHOULD have a better grasp of the D. I watch #11 slice them up daily in practice. Being ranked 121st out of 121 tells me they never quite grasp anything. All i was saying is the upperclassmen had they chance. Dont expect different results if your doing the same thing, it was time to switch it up. Hoping for the upset, we can score with them IMO, but the D HAS to get some 3 and outs. If they dont the O will press and it could spell doom.
October 23, 2014 at 1:10 pm #16172James to start at OC to minimze presnap penalties per Andy.
OOctober 23, 2014 at 4:59 pm #16173Just watched LU report. Cringe moment from Andy describing Fordham ” they put their pants on one leg at a time just like…”Geeesh!
October 24, 2014 at 7:35 pm #16194Rich,
Just wanted to let know that I’m a knew comer at this and Love what you do! I think we have a shot at Fordam if we play our cards right which is no penalties or turnovers.FYI, I heard from a friend from the Pennridge Community just a few miles south of us off Route 309 that Crawford was just released from his injury and is now starting at fullback? I thought Crawford was released a few weeks ago, do you have insight on this? Damn, its about time, I’ve been looking forward to seeing this kid run all year, he’s a tough runner. However with this stupid spread offense we’re running maybe they will let him in a play or two blocking on goal line?
